What is the effect of the different barrel lengths?

Advantages of the long barrel (690 mm):
a) results in a higher total weight and therefore less movement when ready to fire and during the aiming process.
b) results in a longer max. length of aiming and therefore enables more precise aiming.
c) results in better weight distribution for prone shooting and three-position competition (3 x 40).

Advantages of the long barrel (660 mm):
a) slightly shorter and smaller diameter, for those who want it lighter, without loss of precision, approx. 280 g lighter.
b) ideal for the women's sporting rifle discipline, as there is a weight restriction here (max. 6.5 kg).
c) results in better weight distribution with the lightweight sporting rifle stock.

Advantages of the short barrel (500 mm):
a) Individual adjustment of the length of aiming possible by using two muzzle tubes of different lengths.
b) Same outstanding accuracy as the long barrels.
c) Optimized balance for standing shooting.
