The first cartridge in a new magazine "releases" poorly. What is wrong?

The spring in new magazines is very tight and presses the top cartridge in particular against the insertion lips. For this reason, it can happen that the first cartridge is not inserted properly during the repeat process. If you use ammunition with a ballistic tip, this problem does not occur in our experience. Accuracy is also not affected. Experience has shown that the spring loosens after a few loading processes. If you do not want to wait that long, remove the spring and loosen it yourself by compressing it several times.
