What are the benefits of stabilizer?

The stabilizer is a balancing compound that is released at the same time as the shot. It is designed to minimise recoil. In each bolt of the 9003 and 8002 models there is a second hole that branches off some air at the ready to fire and thus sets a small release link in motion. On the 9003, a stabiliser mass is suspended from this release link under spring tension as standard. The stabiliser mass can easily be retrofitted to the 8002.

The moment the pellet starts moving, the release link releases the stabiliser weight and the balancing mass moves backwards. The backward movement is always smooth and, depending on the setting, up to 25 mm. The stabiliser mass is always stopped by the contact of the slide ring with the breech wall, it must not hit the end of the breech housing.

A physical effect is used here. A force always produces a counterforce of equal magnitude. When a bullet with a low weight and a high velocity leaves the barrel, a large weight with a lower velocity runs in the opposite direction at the same time. This produces the balance.
