Is the use of subsonic ammunition in ANSCHÜTZ small bore rifles permitted?

General information on subsonic ammunition:

Some ammunition manufacturers have developed and marketed small calibre ammunition with a muzzle velocity of approx. 216 m/s (710 fps). This subsonic ammunition was developed for quiet use in conjunction with a sound moderator . This ammunition is considerably slower than commercially available small calibre ammunition with a muzzle velocity of approx. 320 m/s (1050 fps).

When using subsonic ammunition in ANSCHÜTZ rifles, the following problems occur. 1:
1. due to the low muzzle velocity the cartridges can get stuck in the barrel!
2. if a cartridge is fired again, severe damage to the barrel may occur!
3. the shooter may be injured!

Therefore, please note:

The use of ammunition whose muzzle velocity is below 280 m/s (920 fps) is strictly prohibited in ANSCHÜTZ rifles. Use of this ammunition will void your warranty and ANSCHÜTZ GmbH & Co. KG accepts no liability for injuries and damage caused by the use of such ammunition.
