Under the leadership of the two brothers, ANSCHÜTZ also became more and more attractive as an employer and thus the number of employees grew steadily. After smaller construction measures, the first enlargement of the factory was already necessary in 1909.

After the expansion, 175 people were employed at ANSCHÜTZ. In just five more years, the number of employees had already risen to 250. The company developed more and more into one of the most efficient arms manufacturers in Thuringia.

ANSCHÜTZ guns quickly enjoyed the reputation of being particularly precise and of high quality. While the expertise and passion of the employees ensured the high quality standard, precision was taken care of on the company's own shooting range. For Fritz August and Otto Veit Anschütz, it was a matter of course that every rifle was shot at 50 or 100 meters and the sight adjusted before it was allowed to leave the factory.

Popular models of the time were mainly air rifles and Mauser pistols. But the Tesching rifles and hunting weapons also continued to enjoy great popularity.
